What you will do
- Take ownership of outreach efforts across assigned accounts, securing relevant media placements to meet and exceed client KPIs
- Create and adapt outreach strategies based on insights and results to ensure maximum coverage and performance for each client
- Stay ahead of media trends and continuously develop your knowledge of the ever-evolving media landscape to drive results
- Provide performance-led updates, including reporting coverage, tracker updates, and coverage books to ensure transparency and progress
- Draft press releases and materials with minimal amendments needed, and identify opportunities for newsjacking and reactive PR that benefit clients
- Play an active role in brainstorming and researching ideas for campaigns, ensuring that creativity and performance are always at the forefront
- Always look for ways to surprise and delight clients by delivering results that go above and beyond expectations
- Contribute to onboarding, QBR slides, and pitches, ensuring PR excellence across the team
- Ensure deadlines are met and outreach activity remains on track across all clients
- Share knowledge on best practices from training, events, or case studies, and contribute to making the team even better
Requirements
- 1+ years of PR experience: a strong foundation with proven success in delivering media coverage and results, preferably within an agency setting
- A love for keeping up with the latest media trends, with a growing network of media contacts and the ability to secure coverage across a range of PR tactics
- You’re a natural storyteller who loves coming up with new, innovative ideas, and can write and communicate with clarity and impact
- You understand the broader performance marketing landscape and how PR contributes to improving brand visibility and organic growth
- You take initiative, managing your time and responsibilities effectively while delivering excellent results
- Ability to work across internal teams (SEO, creative, and social) and external teams, ensuring campaigns are integrated and deliver maximum value
