What you will do
- Conduct regular keyword research, competitor analysis, content audits, user journey analysis and competitor analysis for clients that help deliver commercial results
- Develop and deliver quarterly content strategies, ensuring deadlines are met throughout
- Write clear briefs for internal and external teams, articulating your findings to give clear guidance on how to create the best content
- Report on the commercial success of your content strategies and present the results to your clients regularly
- Work closely with the SEO, PR and Creative teams to create on and offsite content for a range of ecommerce and lead-gen sites (including B2C, B2B and YMYL industries)
- Immerse yourself in the client’s brand to understand their pain points and become an extension of their team
- Help identify key opportunities for existing clients and for new business
- Mentor and support junior team members and help them grow into content stars
Requirements
- You have at least one year of experience in content strategy and have experience working in an agency
- You’re able to own, develop, implement, and report on content strategies for your clients, and you’re comfortable speaking to clients on a regular basis
- You know how to improve existing content and have an eye for identifying untapped, new content opportunities for clients
- You have a strong understanding of SEO and keyword research, and you’re familiar with tools like GA, GSC, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog and SEO Monitor
- You understand the customer journey, user intent and the requirement for different types of content to cater to each stage
- You’re self-motivated and are comfortable working independently
- You are highly organised and have great time management skills
