What you will do
Lead our lead generation activities by taking ownership of our always on and strategic outreach strategies
Develop deep relationships with key stakeholders at target accounts across our key verticals
Collaborate with team leadership and Marketing to align on Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs), refine outreach messaging, and develop strategies for stronger pipeline generation
Generate and use high-level market insights, data, content, and thought leadership to drive engagement and interest in Journey Further's services
Build and nurture strong relationships to drive leads from initial engagement to opportunity
Identify opportunities for quick, project-lead engagements - leading on pitching and closing smaller activations
Serve as the critical bridge, attending initial meetings and nurturing potential clients until a clear, defined opportunity is ready for the New Business team
Implement and trial innovative tactics that go beyond the usual lead generation techniques and gain cut-through in a crowded agency market
Work closely with Growth Specialist(s) to develop full-funnel demand generation strategies, using our advanced tech-stack to combine scalable volume and bespoke personal touchpoints
Provide structured support, feedback, and mentorship for onboarding and training junior team members to uplift team capabilities
Maintain meticulous, accurate records in the CRM, expanding data and logging all activity, while ensuring proficiency in sales enablement tools
Requirements
Advanced understanding of the agency’s service offerings and industry-specific challenges, including a thorough understanding of current digital marketing trends and the competitive landscape (Deep knowledge of performance marketing is required to enable custom pitches and successful negotiations)
Demonstrable track record of meeting and exceeding team revenue or pipeline goals
Good understanding of our identified Personas and ICP tiers, and how that translates to different communication strategies
Proficient in CRM and sales enablement tools (e.g., HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Sales Engagement tools), with the ability to train others
Excellent communication and persuasion skills, with a focus on consultative selling and a consultative approach to prospect engagement
Knowledge of applied sales methodologies (e.g., SPIN, MEDDIC) and their application in prospecting processes
Experience using CRM systems like Hubspot is highly beneficial
You’re incredibly ambitious, itching to grow your career in business development or marketing - this role provides clear pathways into senior revenue driving independent contributor roles or strategic department leadership
You’re used to using a number of different prospecting tools and data sources to drive activity forward independently
Strong analytical skills to interpret performance data and adjust strategies for optimal outcomes
Locations
Leeds - £50,000 - £58,000 + Commission
London - £55,000 - £65,000 + Commission
There is an in office requirement of two days a week in the office
